Art Sprouts

Join us for a fun summer of creativity, exploration, and art!

Class Objectives:

• Spiritual ❤️ - Students will learn about how God is the ultimate artist and how we can reflect God’s character through creativity

• Mental 🧠 - Students will apply creative problem solving and engage in imaginative design

• Physical ✍️ - Students will develop fine motor skills and explore art techniques using various materials and art forms

Our goal is to grow artists who will reflect the great Master Artist!

Students:

• For kids age 4-10

• We welcome parents to join in, especially for the younger ones (4-6)

Class Format:

Art classes will be 1 hour long. Please come 10 minutes early to check in and get settled.

• Growing Roots (5 min): Class will begin with prayer and a short worship thought that ties into the art project for the day

• Sprouting Creativity (10 min): The teacher will give a live art demo showing the art materials, processes, and techniques, as well as the finished art project

• Art in Bloom (40 min): Students will create their own artwork with the guidance of the teacher

• Harvest & Reflect (5 min): We will review the art project and close with prayer

Time & Dates:

Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-4pm, starting on June 9. Please view the calendar below for specific dates. Please note that certain days are blocked out because of my travel schedule, and there is the inclusion of one Tuesday to fit in a total of 10 sessions.

Art Fees:

Individual Class

You can pay per session ($20), which includes:

1. 1 hour of instructional class time with art teacher

2. All art supplies provided

*Please register at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance so that I can order materials in time.
